I like making people happy.

Everyone does, okay. But I really, really like making people happy. I like making them laugh. I like ridiculousness. I like to bring comfort and happiness to people and teams by organizing chaos and creating things that make life better for everyone.

In addition to my years in writing and communications management, I’ve been:

• a high school English teacher

• a vocational instructor for high-risk rural teens

• a university rhetoric, research, and writing instructor

• a children’s librarian

• a wedding and portrait photographer, and

• a traveling musician.

I still write music. I love dogs. I’m shamelessly friendly. If I ask you how you’re doing, I want you to be honest.

I think everyone should spend just 5 extra minutes doing a little more for people than people expect.
