I'm a communications and content specialist with a background in content marketing, copywriting, and project coordination.
For more than a decade, I’ve helped nonprofits, B Corps, SaaS startups, and mission-driven brands create clearer messaging, more effective campaigns, and better experiences for the people they serve.
In addition to writing and content marketing, I specialize in stepping into complex or fast-moving environments and bringing structure, strategy, and clarity to creative work. I’ve led email marketing and web content strategy, developed brand voices, crafted in-product UX copy, redesigned newsletters, built scalable workflows, and managed cross-functional creative projects.
Along the way, I’ve collaborated with developers, designers, product managers, and leadership to help teams feel less overwhelmed and more aligned.
Some of my favorite wins include:
• Quadrupling an organization’s nonprofit partnerships through revamped outreach
• Writing all in-product copy for a charitable giving SaaS adopted by Priceline
• Launching editorial and storytelling initiatives that supported 20k+ nonprofits’ fundraising efforts
• Introducing AI tools and digital workflows that improved accessibility and cut production time in half
But I’m not all marketing. I’m also a classically trained pianist, lifelong songwriter, and occasional stage actor. I composed original music for Muncie Civic Theatre’s Charlotte’s Web and performed in productions like A Christmas Story (as Mother) and School of Rock (as Patty DiMarco). Music has shaped how I think about tone, flow, and timing—skills that show up in everything I write.
A midwesterner since 2009, I’m originally from Texas, and grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. I’m a parent to an amazing teenager, a fan of anything psychology-related, and an avid learner who will happily get way too deep into a subject just for fun. (I’m also an INFP, and a Libra Rising/Pisces Moon/Taurus Sun…if you’re into that kind of thing.)
If you're a values-aligned organization looking for someone who can write, design, organize, and bring calm to creative chaos while staying kind, curious, and quietly powerful, I’d love to connect.
